Mold Help is sponsoring a sample collection event for our Mold Measurements for Human Health (M2H2) project July 29. Location and key speakers will be announced. Additionally, any groups of five or more persons in the Portland metro area who wish to participate in this research may have free on-site testing done. Any groups of fifteen or more in the Seattle metro area may also have free testing done. Please contact Robert Lanier at boblanier@labfx.net for more information.
LABfx is the biotech company who is contracted by Mold Help to develop an affordable and accurate screening test for persons exposed to mold who want to know if their bodies are providing indications that this exposure is adversely affecting them and they should seek further assistance.
LABfx needs to acquire blood and saliva samples from over 300 more persons who have been exposed to mold to make sure that they develop a test that will survive the scrutiny of any governmental agency looking into this test. LABfx will also need over 100 samples from individuals who believe they have not been exposed to mold - as their control group.
There is no charge for this, and we will enable you to meet and talk with Dr Bob Buck, Chief Scientist for LABfx and Project Manager for M2H2, Susan Lillard, Executive Director of The Mold Help Organization, and possibly 2-3 attorneys who specialize in supporting mold victims.
The results of this testing cannot be provided to the sample donors until a patent for the test has been filed and several steps taken with the federal government to make sure there is support for the test within the government.
Please let us know if you will be attending to that we have adequate sample collection devices. There will be a short survey that we will be asking you to complete as well.
Our goal is to provide a screening test that is affordable for everyone and we thank you in advance for your participation.
