More Mold Found at School
Tempe, AZ – More mold has been found at Corona del Sol High School in Tempe.
Reports on environmental testing of carpets being removed and of adjacent walls detail 2- to 3-square-inch spots of mold found at five locations on campus, according to a memorandum from Corona High plant-operations director Bob Anderson. According to the memo, the mold has been cleaned up. But the memo does not state the types of mold or where it was found.
About two years ago, toxigenic molds were found and removed at Corona High.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the full environmental report detailing the mold found at Corona High was not posted on the district’s Web site.
District spokeswoman Linda Littell said that Anderson was awaiting the hard copy and expected to get it and have it posted “within the next two weeks.”
