Mold Toxin Detox: Focused Advice for a Mold-Sick Body

in Health & Diet /by Carolyn Willbanks

Written by Catherine of www.moldfreeliving.com

Note from Mold-Help.com – Much has been written about detox for everything from weight loss to healing from many different diseases. Detox is definitely an integral part of ridding the body of mold, including removal of dangerous mycotoxins. This article by Catherine is one of the most comprehensive I’ve read recently. I think you will find it insightful, based on science and written with empathy from a fellow mold warrior. CW

Summary

Binders when taken too aggressively and in the absence of anything done to support and encourage the body’s detoxification system and pathways, can cause adverse reactions, like bloating, abdominal pain, reflux and constipation. Additionally, they can inhibit the absorption of other medications, and reduce the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins.
….. To solve this problem and to “hack” the whole mold detox conundrum, so that you can feel better faster, and employ ongoing detox strategies to lessen “mold-hit relapses,” it makes sense to examine the following:

  • How detoxification is supposed to work in a healthy body;
  • Why mold toxins, in particular, disrupt detoxification;
  • And, what you can do to get the mold out of the way, so that you can detoxify properly again.
