Another moldy mobile home story; another cry for help

October 15, 2003/in Insurance Companies /by Contributor

I purchased a brand new mobile home in March 2003, I started having problems right away. When the company moved my trailer in it was raining really hard. Then they leveled the home in the mud. My roof looks like a mini roller coaster ride. I have 3 bathrooms in my home and only 1 works all the time, the others have leaked off and on.

I have been calling the dealer and manufacture company for over a year with these problems, now my roof has started to leak and has for several months. My shower leaks into the floor and has for a year.

My furniture feels like you are sitting on a wet towel; my children’s bed feel the same way. My children both have allergies and one has asthma. Every day I wake up feeling really bad(headache, chest hurts ect..) My children feel the same. It seems as though no one cares. I have tried to get the company and manufacture to come and fix these problems before it’s too l! ate and one of us ends up in the hospital or worse. I bought a dehumidifier a 40 pint and I fill that up every 8-10 hours.

PLEASE HELP. I don’t know what else to do, who I can call?  I have called anyone who would listen HADD, GOVERNOR, you name it

I need to have the air quality checked, also mold levels checked but I’m a single mother with two small boys and no money to work with. I am open to any ideas
